City of Newton Updates Elliot Street DPW Facility

Lord Associates recently assisted the City of Newton, Massachusetts in a major upgrade of their fueling facility on Elliot Street.  Lord Associates designed a new, state-of-the-art above ground petroleum storage and dispensing facility and oversaw the installation earlier this year.  The new facility replaces an aging underground storage unit which was also removed during the contruction phase of the project.  The Elliot Street location is one of two major fueling locations servicing all the City's departments.  Lord Associates is currently designing a replacement facility for the second location, which is expected to be built in 2010.
